11-year-old shoots triple drop tine 200″ free-range buck

We are still working on updates to this story. This is what we know so far. This was a free-range buck reportedly killed on private land and the initial green score is over 200″. We will update you as we have more facts come in.

Update: After talking to his mother she told me the buck was killed in Ohio.

Here is the initial post on Facebook from his mom.

Yesterday our 11-year-old son met a milestone that most hunters, including my husband, spend a lifetime striving to accomplish but in the end typically fall short. We could not be more proud of Brody steadfastly battling less than optimal elements and staying motivated during a lack of deer sightings until the very end when this 200 inch class trophy of a lifetime provided him with a shot. We were so proud how he stayed calm and collected as he touched off the shot. Unfortunately the weather subdued much of the sign of where the deer went and they had to back out as darkness hit. This morning Kyle was on the track and was able to walk up on this beast and the celebration began.
