Animal Rights Activist Stabs Women in Fur Boots while in Church

A Cleveland Ohio woman was taken to the hospital with stab wounds caused by a psychotic animal rights activist.

According to Cleveland.com, Cleveland Heights police believe that Meredith Lowell stabbed another woman inside a local church because the woman had the audacity to wearing fur boots.

The stabbing that happened about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at Fairmount Presbyterian Church. The unidentified woman was a baby sitter who was dropping children off at the church for a Wednesday night choir practice.

When police arrived they found the injured woman holding her left side and the perpetrator being held on the ground.

The unidentified woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and Meredith Lowell was taken to jail and is being charged with attempted murder and felonious assault.

This is not the first time Lowell has been in trouble back in 2012, she was charged with federal crimes after she was accused of stabbing someone else wearing fur and solicited hitmen to carry out a similar attack on fur wearers. Those charges were ultimately dismissed after prosecutors determined that Lowell was incompetent to stand trial.
