Father and Son Arrested For Killing Deer on College Campus

A father and son were arrested on the campus of the University of Houston-Clear Lake for the illegal killing of a whitetail deer.

According to KCRG ABC 9, Shane Strickland, 39, and his son, Reed Strickland, 18 were arrested after they killed a deer on campus grounds with a crossbow.

Earlier someone reported finding a hunting blind with corn while hiking a ca and police were investigating that when they discovered the pair. Even though there is an ample population of deer on campus, hunting is prohibited.

Shane and Reed Strickland posted a $1,000 personal bond and are now out of jail.
